Electric raclette ovens — precision and comfort

Electric raclette grills allow you to melt half a wheel of cheese with controlled and consistent heat. Ideal for home use (standard 220V outlet), they offer precise temperature control and rapid heating.

Recommended power: minimum 1000 watts for a traditional half wheel of cheese. Our TTM models range from 900 to 1500 watts — enough to melt a round or square wheel weighing 2 to 3 kg in a few minutes.

Gas-powered raclette ovens — raclette everywhere, all the time

A gas-powered raclette grill operates without electricity, making it ideal for evenings in a chalet, in the mountains, or for outdoor meals. Connected to a butane or propane gas cylinder (EasyGas compatible), it generates powerful and even heat under the half-wheel of raclette cheese.

Our TTM gas furnaces are designed for alpine conditions: robust, stable, and capable of melting half a wheel of cheese in less than 10 minutes even in cold weather.

Wood-fired raclette ovens — the authentic experience

The wood-fired raclette grill is the most traditional version. The heat from the embers acts slowly and evenly on the cheese, giving it subtle smoky notes that no electric oven can replicate. It's the choice of purists and large, convivial gatherings.

Our Cottens and Zac models are made in Switzerland, designed to last and engineered to melt one or two half-wheels simultaneously.

Why choose a TTM raclette oven?

TTM is a Valais-based company founded in the 1970s, a pioneer of the modern raclette oven. Each model is designed in Switzerland, conceived for the traditional half-wheel of cheese (round or square), and tested in real alpine conditions.

  • Tilting support for precise dispensing of the melt
  • Stability even on uneven surfaces (adjustable feet on some models)
  • Universal compatibility : round cheese, square cheese, Valais PDO or other
  • Durability : Designed to last 10 to 20 years with minimal maintenance
  • Swiss made : guaranteed quality and after-sales service in Switzerland

What power rating is needed for a raclette oven versus table grills?

The power of an electric raclette oven determines the melting speed and the quality of the result:

Power Recommended use
600–900 W Small models, individual portions (tabletop grills)
1000–1200 W Half wheel up to 2 kg, serves 4–6 people
1300–1500 W Half wheel up to 3 kg, serves 6–10 people

For a traditional raclette with half a wheel of cheese, a minimum of 1000 watts is recommended. Below that, the melting is too slow and the cheese risks drying out before it melts.
